We have become aware that the above Meetup Group is intimating that it has connections to this Group, (North West London Lesbian and Gay Group) and also that much of its content material has been plagiarised from our website. Whilst we are flattered by this imitation, we feel a moral obligation to point out to members of the Meetup Group that they have no affiliation with us simply by being Members of it and that claims made about meeting venues, events and members may not be true if the same details are already published on this website. Comments or statements made on the Meetup Group in no way reflect or represent the views of North West London Lesbian and Gay Group.
We welcome members from the whole LGBT(q) spectrum who are then offered a subscription Membership after an initial free 'get to know you' visit. Current details of our Group, meetings, events and location can be found on this website which is regularly updated. The 'Contacting Us' page can be used for more information.
We welcome interest from anyone who is LGBT(q) oriented - Committee members are always available on meeting nights to answer questions and welcome you to the Group.
As the city's longest-running social group for the LGBT community, we have been organising a weekly programme of social activities, for old friends and new, for more than 40 years.
These activities include quizzes, games nights, bingo, barbecues and many other social events. We also organise presentations, with guest speakers addressing issues that impact the LGBT community. Recent topics have included 'Homophobic Crime' and 'The Civil Partnership Act Explained'.
We are a social group, based in North West London, who welcome all members of the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgendered community.
The North West London Lesbian & Gay Group was established in 1971. Our guiding principle is the creation of a friendly environment for any member of the LGBT community to meet and socialise. This remains our core focus today as we continue our work, celebrating over 40 years of group activity and action.
The NWLLGG was founded by local gay people and continues to be run by and for the local LGBT community. It is not affiliated to any political party or commercial organisation.
